Comparison of Clinicopathological and Survival Features of Right and Left Colon Cancers: Experience of the Medical Oncology Department of Fez

Right-sided colon cancers (RCC) and left-sided (LCC) have different epidemiological, physiological, pathological, genetic, clinical characteristics, which result in differences the course, prognosis, outcome of disease. The objective our study is to compare right-sided regarding clinicopathological survival characteristics. This a retrospective 664 patients with cancer treated at medical oncology department Fez over period from December 2009 September 2020. Rectosigmoid, descending colon, splenic flexure tumors were considered cancers, whereas ascending cancers.
